US Army counselor admits to stealing millions from families of dead soldiers

 April 17, 2024

A former American Army financial counselor has pleaded guilty to a crime that would make even Hunter Biden sick:

"Defrauding grieving military families of millions of dollars in life insurance payments."

Caz Craffy's victims included a teenage girl whose father had died while at war, as well as a handful of military widows.

Craffy is 41 years old and may face up to a decade behind bars after pleading guilty to all ten of the charges he was accused of.

Some of the charges were securities and wires fraud and making false statements.

Even Merrick Garland, who sometimes struggles to distinguish between right and wrong, was not impressed by Craffy, saying:

Those who target and steal from the families of fallen American servicemembers will be held accountable for their crimes.
