Former federal grudgingly predicts Trump win on immunity claim

 April 29, 2024

Former President Donald Trump's claims to presidential immunity are being weighed by the Supreme Court right now, and all indicators suggest that the conservative Supreme Court will uphold Trump's claims to immunity,  at least in part.

The panic from the left and the deep state is already taking root, and former federal judge Michael Luttig complained to The New Republic, "I’m profoundly disturbed about the apparent direction of the court. I now believe that it is unlikely Trump will ever be tried for the crimes he committed in attempting to overturn the 2020 election.”

First, Trump has never been found guilty of committing a crime in connection with the 2020 presidential election. Second, Luttig ignores the entire argument of whether the President of the United States has immunity.

The Supreme Court appears poised to refer the question of presidential immunity to lower courts, which will delay Trump's trial until after the November election.

Luttig predicted,"I believe it is now likely either that Trump will get elected and instruct his attorney general to drop the charges, or that the Supreme Court will grant him immunity from prosecution."

No matter what happens, it has become clear that the lawfare employed by the Democrat Party has failed and they have given Trump mountains of evidence that the corrupt deep state is real and willing to do anything to stop him.
