Iowa governor signs bill allowing state to arrest, deport some migrants

 April 11, 2024

If one thing has been clear about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ever since the moment they took office, it would have to be this:

They have ZERO interest in fixing America's southern border.

That's because, by their logic, if it's liberals keeping the border open for illegal immigrants, then those illegal immigrants should owe Democrats a vote once election season rolls around here, right?

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds does NOT agree.

She just signed a bill into law that will make it a state crime for a person to be in Iowa if they have previously been denied admission into America or have previously been removed from the United States.

"The Biden Administration has failed to enforce our nation’s immigration laws, putting the protection and safety of Iowans at risk," Reynolds said in a statement after signing the bill. "This bill gives Iowa law enforcement the power to do what he is unwilling to do: enforce immigration laws already on the books."
