Federal judge tears into Biden's DOJ for ignoring Hunter Biden-related subpoenas

 April 7, 2024

U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes, who was appointed by President Joe Biden, issued a scathing rebuke of Biden's Department of Justice for ignoring subpoenas from the House concerning Hunter Biden.

Reyes took no prisoners in blasting the hypocrisy of the DOJ for blowing off these subpoenas while pointing out that an aide to former President Donald Trump, Peter Navarro, is currently in prison for defying a subpoena.

Reyes stated “There’s a person in jail right now because you all brought a criminal lawsuit against him because he did not appear for a House subpoena. And now you guys are flouting those subpoenas. … And you don’t have to show up?"

Navarro ignored a subpoena from the Jan. 6 select committee and that ended up with him catching a four-month prison sentence.

The Biden administration has been consistently ignoring subpoenas from the House Oversight Committee concerning Hunter Biden and his corrupt business activities.

Hunter Biden himself has defied subpoenas so the question is, will he and the other myriad individuals in the DOJ face the same punishment the Navarro is getting right now?
