The wife of a Woodbury County, Iowa supervisor has been convicted of 52 counts of voter fraud and could spend years in jail for her crimes.

A jury found that Kim Phuong Taylor, 49, was guilty of 26 counts of providing false information in registering and voting, three counts of fraudulent registration, and 23 counts of fraudulent voting.

Taylor's husband Jeremy Taylor ran as a Republican in Iowa's Fourth District but lost to Randy Feenstra, the eventual winner who ousted former Rep. Steve King.

Kim Taylor was found to have helped others submit fraudulent ballots, including absentee ballots.

"Taylor completed and signed voter forms without voters’ permission and told others that they could sign on behalf of relatives who were not present," a news release from the DOJ said.

The chairman of the board of supervisors in Woobury County, Matthew Ung, said that he believes Jeremy Taylor knew what his wife was doing and should resign.
