Report regarding attempt to push KJP out of her position is true, Fox News host confirms

A bombshell report last week regarding President Joe Biden's administration moving at one point to push out the press secretary just had a juicy update.

According to Mediaite, Fox News' Steve Doocy confirmed that a "high-ranking" White House official confirmed that the administration did, in fact, attempt to force White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre out of her position.

The story was first reported last week by the New York Post, which cited several insider sources.

"Top aides to President Biden secretly hatched a plan this past fall to replace White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre by recruiting outside allies to nudge her out the door," the original report stated.

The report detailed how top officials at the White House, including Biden senior adviser Anita Dunn, along with the green light from White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, hatched a scheme to send a strong signal to KJP that she has overstayed her welcome.

"There was an effort to have some outside folks who Karine knows and trusts talk to her about why leaving last fall would have made a lot of sense for her and her career," one of the sources told the Post.

Hilariously, most of the mainstream media ignored the story, as they typically do when it stands the chance of drawing negative attention to the Biden administration.

Mediaite noted:

After Jacqui Heinrich briefly mentioned the report from the White House lawn for Fox & Friends, co-host Doocy confirmed the reporting, at least according to an unnamed high-ranking White House official who told him as much during Saturday night’s WHCD.

Doocy reiterated that the high-ranking official stressed that KJP was resistant and refused to leave.

"At that event, I was there, and a White House official, a very high-ranking person, told me that the story was absolutely true," Doocy said. "They would like her to step aside, but she just won’t go."

It's not surprising that the Biden administration would want her out, as she's routinely mocked as one of the worst and least-skilled press secretaries in U.S. presidential history.

Many believe that the Biden administration refuses to outright fire her given that she's Black and happens to be a member of the LGBTQ community.

Now that the report is out, the situation could change. Only time will tell.
