US allows for passage of UN resolution calling for ceasefire in Gaza
President Joe Biden has failed again.
The latest?
He’s refused to veto a resolution from the U.N. Security Council, officially letting it pass.
The resolution called for a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
Now, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield has released a statement on the passed resolution, saying that “certain key edits were ignored, including our requests to add a condemnation of Hamas. And we did not agree with everything in the resolution.”
Thomas-Greenfield continued, “we fully support some of the critical objectives in this non-binding resolution. And we believe it was important for the council to speak out and make clear that any cease-fire must come with the release of all hostages.”
Needless to say, this is not going to be helping Biden’s already failing approval ratings.
When it comes to the Israel-Hamas war, Biden does not have a clue about what to do.
We need someone in the White House who can make the tough decisions!
