Conservative star Tucker Carlson revealed that he is actually still employed by Fox News but will not be allowed to do any shows and is effectively in limbo while he negotiates an exit.
Carlson confirmed in a text to 19FortyFive that, "I’m still employed by Fox." This was corroborated by former Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
She stated on Thursday that, "I want to, I think, break some news for you. Tucker Carlson hasn’t actually been fired. He’s still an employee of the Fox News Channel. What happened was, Suzanne Scott called him, she’s the CEO, on Monday, morning, and said, um, he was not going to be allowed to do any more shows, and that he had been kicked out of his company email, and now they’re going to have to negotiate an exit."
Carlson's treatment by Fox News meant that he was unable to bid farewell to his audience suggesting that Fox News have no intention of making this divorce amicable.
What's worse, Carlson's employment at Fox News may complicate his plans going forward.
Carlson is a key voice for conservatism, and Fox News could hamper his ability to reach out to conservatives with a crucial election just around the corner.
It's important to share the news to spread the truth. Most people won't.
