Trump Appealing Ruling That Was Seen As Victory For Him

 November 23, 2023

Despite the original ruling appearing to represent a victory for Donald Trump, America's 45th president has decided to appeal a recent Colorado court decision that many people thought was a win for him.

Curiously, the other side in the matter is also protesting the results of the case.

I don't know how it's even possible that both sides are pissed off at the ruling, but that's exactly where we are.

Trump is furious that despite being kept as an option for the 2024 presidential ballot in Colorado, the state officially declared that he made an attempt to "engage in insurrection" on Jan. 6, 2021. He was allowed to stay on the ballot because "he was not an officer of the United States as defined by the Fourteenth Amendment, invalidating efforts to disqualify him from the Colorado primary ballot in a narrow victory for the former president."

Trump wants the case to be revisited to have the "insurrectionist" label taken away, but he'd better be careful hanging around this case for too long.

The other side thinks they've still got a shot to keep him off the ballot entirely.

With which side do you agree?
