Robert F. Kennedy Jr. channeling Trump on Jan. 6, says no proof of insurrection

 April 7, 2024

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. came to former President Donald Trump's defense by questioning the Democrat narrative around the Jan. 6 protest at the US.  Capitol and stated that there was no evidence of insurrection on Trump's part.

Kennedy borrowed many of Trump's talking points questioning the claim that Trump committed insurrection. He also supported Trump’s claims that the prosecution of its participants was politically motivated.

Many of those who participated in the Jan. 6 protest have been unfairly treated by the Department of Justice, and th e countless civil rights violations they have endured have made it clear that those participants, guilty or not, are being punished for political reasons.

Kennedy also explained that he was “disturbed by the weaponization of government” against Trump and his supporters. All of this is terrible news for Democrats as Kennedy's statements will spread these views to centrist Democrats and undermine the narrative around the protest.

Democrats want Americans to believe that Trump is an insurrectionist and as such should not be eligible to hold office again.

That narrative is falling apart and RFK Jr. may have delivered the final blow. Kennedy may be the lynchpin that decides the 2024 election which promises to be incredibly close.
