Pro-Palestinian protesters swarm star-studded Biden fundraising event
President Joe Biden's situation with the backlash over his administration's stance on Gaza policies during the Israel-Hamas war is causing an increasingly more painful headache.
According to Daily Mail, Presiden Biden was labeled a "war criminal" by hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters who recently swarmed a Radio City Music Hall fundraising event to be held with former President Barack Obama.
Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and surrogates of their 2024 campaign have faced increased pressure from within the ranks of their own progressive voters to get tougher on calling for a ceasefire.
As a result, those same people have made it a point to protest as many public outings as they can, which has drawn intense negative media coverage.
The New York Post noted:
The droves of angry demonstrators surrounded the iconic venue on Sixth Avenue, where former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton will join Biden for the fundraiser that includes a discussion moderated by CBS “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert.
"Genocide has got to go" and other slogans were shouted by the angry protesters, with many hurling profanities at Biden and others who were set to attend the fundraising event.

The Post noted:
Many protesters waved Palestinian flags while others held signs denouncing the president and the Democratic Party as “war criminals.” Other signs read: “End all US aid to Israel.”
Because of the high-profile guests in attendance, including celebrities and former presidents, along with Biden, NYPD officers were out in full force during the event.
Several arrests were made as some of the protesters became unruly.
Social media users reacted to the protests and subsequent arrests.
"Mass deportations would solve so much of this nonsense. Also police not tolerating these unlawful protests where they block roadways and let these people get away with nonsense they’d never let Trump supporters do. Biden was unwise to hold his fundraiser in such a toxic city," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "They would be arresting a of them if they were wearing MAGA hats."
It'll be interesting to see if the Biden administration changes any Gaza-related policies as a result of the increasing pressure ahead of the November election.
