Long Island Parents Charged with Manslaughter after Toddler Drug OD

 April 3, 2024

Joseph Adonis was just 14 months old when he died because of a drug overdose at his parents' house.

Now, the mother and father have been indicted on manslaughter charges.

Reports indicate that a Long Island couple had their baby overdose after getting into their drug stash, where he ingested a lethal cocktail of cocaine, fentanyl, and heroin.

Wilkens Adonis and Daryllee Leibrock are both 38 and already faced a litany of drug and weapons charges after the death of 14-month-old Joseph back in January.

This week though, things got even worse for the parents when "Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney announced a superseding indictment that formally charged the Holbrook couple in the child’s death."

Drugs are claiming too many lives in America these days, and we're seeing that the problem is getting so bad that even those who never willingly choose to ingest these drugs are in danger.

Please pray for everyone involved in this scenario, and for solutions to happen so that something like this NEVER occurs again.
