Leftist anti-Israel supporter threatens to murder city council members in Bakersfield, California

 April 14, 2024

Anti-Israel protestor Riddhi Patel was arrested after threatening to murder Bakersfield, California, Mayor Karen Goh and council members over the decision to install metal detectors at City Hall following intense anti-Israel protests.

Patel stated, "You guys want to criminalize us with metal detectors? We’ll see you at your house, we’ll murder you."

This direct threat to public officials was made at the council meeting in front of multiple police officers. Situations like these are a massive headache for the Democrat Party, which is slowly embracing anti-Israel factions.

Prior to that already inadvisable statement, Patel raged at the council, saying, "You guys are all horrible human beings, and Jesus probably would have killed you himself. I hope one day somebody brings the guillotine and kills all you motherf—-rs!"

What did the city council do that made them deserving of death? The council voted down a resolution condemning Israel for attacking the terrorist organization Hamas after the horrific Oct. 7 terrorist attacks.

Patel is now facing 18 counts of making terroristic threats and threatening state officials and is being held for a $1 million bail.
