Lauren Boebert undergoes emergency surgery for blood clot

 April 4, 2024

One of the Trump family's biggest political allies, Lauren Boebert, was just admitted for emergency surgery on a blood clot in her leg.

The 37-year-old grandma who is a congresswoman from Colorado also announced that she has recently been diagnosed with May-Thurner syndrome.

"After undergoing a CT Scan, doctors found an acute blood clot and diagnosed her with May-Thurner Syndrome, which is a rare condition that disrupts blood flow," a statement from her campaign read.

May-Thurner syndrome is a rare vascular condition in which "an artery compresses the left iliac vein in the pelvis, blocking off blood flow from the leg back to the heart."

Boebert has been in the news a lot lately.

Just recently, her son was arrested, she was kicked out of a theater for vaping and being disruptive, she's switched districts, she's going through a divorce, and she's been feuding with Marjorie Taylor-Greene.

Thankfully for fans of Boebert, things could be going a lot worse for her if doctors hadn't caught this issue in time.
