Donald Trump is up on President Biden by three points, crushing all other Republican challengers

 October 1, 2023

Former President Donald Trump is beating President Joe Biden by three points nationally according to a new Leger survey commissioned by the New York Post.

That survey found that Trump is up 44% to 41% on President Biden in a hypothetical 2024 match-up that many believe is already set in stone.

The survey also found that Trump has captured the support of 62% of Republican voters who want him to be the GOP nominee next year.

Trump's next closest competitor is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis who captured the support of 10% of voters who chose him as their nominee in 2024.

No other candidate got above double-digit support, meaning that the race for the GOP nomination is a two-man race that Trump has already won.

What should really concern Democrats is the fact that Trump is now regularly beating President Biden in the polls. Trump may not have huge margins yet, but that could easily change in the next year.
