Supreme Court to have busy few months ahead

 May 7, 2024

The U.S. Supreme Court is facing what might end up being one of the most important two-month periods in the entire history of America's judiciary.

In May and June, the high court is expected to hand down rulings on some of the country's most significant issues.

Elections, abortions, guns, and governmental authority could all be changed forever in America, depending on what the Supreme Court comes up with over these next two months.

The panel has promised to rule on 62 cases this term.

So far, they've only decided on 18 of them.

Simple math tells us that we can expect 44 new rulings to come in the next couple of months, as there's no indication that the Court won't follow tradition and have everything all wrapped up by the end of June.

To alleviate the burden of having to issue rulings on roughly 45 cases in under two months, the Supreme Court may still consolidate several matters.

How much will the Supreme Court change the future of America in the next two months?

We'll just have to wait and see.
