Barron Trump's impressive height stuns at Mar-a-Lago Easter brunch

 April 5, 2024

Now that he has reached the age of 18, Barron Trump is likely in line for more public interest -- and scrutiny -- than ever before, a fact evidenced by media reactions to his recent appearances at his father's Mar-a-Lago resort.

Observers were all abuzz this week after photos of the Trump family's Easter celebrations in Florida emerged in the press, images that revealed the former first son's impressive height and the manner in which he now towers over both of his parents, as the Daily Mail reports.

Sunday saw a significant turnout from Trump family members at Mar-a-Lago's holiday brunch, with Barron Trump notably appearing alongside his mother, Melania, and his maternal grandfather, Victor Knavs.

Mrs. Trump was resplendent and smiling in a white, V-neck dress, while Barron Trump looked sharp in a dark suit and a spring-appropriate yellow tie, which happened to match a new variation of the well-loved “Make America Great Hat,” which his father, the former president, was seen sporting that same day.

The images caught the attention of those who may not have had many glimpses of Barron Trump in recent years and who may not have fully appreciated his staggering 6' 7” stature, something which once prompted his father to suggest that he ought to take up basketball instead of his preferred sport, soccer.

It was not just the Easter brunch images that set the Internet abuzz with talk of Barron's height, as he was also recently photographed at Mar-a-Lago alongside a group of high-profile supporters of his father's presidential campaign, as Newsweek noted.

The viral image at issue, posted to X, shows the former first son together with steel mogul Justin Waller, businessman Patrick Bet-David, MMA standout Colby Covington, and Bo Loudon, the teenage son of conservative pundit Gina Loudon.

Standing in the center of the group, Barron once again towers over all in his orbit, making many wonder whether he is finished growing or if he is still poised to add an inch or two.

The former first son's imposing presence in the photo prompted one online commentator to declare, “Barron is going to be president one day.”

Another X user humorously suggested, “Get this man in the NBA the Celtics need him.”

As professor Tim Cole suggested to Slate earlier this year, whether or not Barron Trump continues to add to his height in the years to come remains an open question.

“Both extremes are possible – that he has already finished growing, and that he will continue to grow – slowly – for several years, Cole said.

Regardless, it appears certain that with his increasing visibility on the campaign trail, the public's fascination with the young man -- who has lived a largely private life thus far -- will only continue to increase.
