Zuckerberg Accused Of Targeting And Addicting Children

Mark Zuckerberg is being sued by over 40 different American states, and the charges are about as disgusting as you would expect them to be.

Zuckerberg has been accused of using his company, Meta, to target and addict children to his products.

Mark Zuckerberg is most famous for founding Facebook, which is owned by Meta. Zuckerberg also owns the popular social media photo site Instagram.

"Meta has harnessed powerful and unprecedented technologies to entice, engage, and ultimately ensnare youth and teens. Its motive is profit, and in seeking to maximize its financial gains, Meta has repeatedly misled the public about the substantial dangers of its social media platforms. It has concealed the ways in which these platforms exploit and manipulate its most vulnerable consumers: teenagers and children," the lawsuit states.

"Kids and teenagers are suffering from record levels of poor mental health, and social media companies like Meta are to blame," New York Attorney General Letitia James said. "Meta has profited from children’s pain by intentionally designing its platforms with manipulative features that make children addicted to their platforms while lowering their self-esteem."

We're still waiting for the same Republicans to make the same case about TikTok, which is like Facebook, but worse. That's because when kids get addicted to TikTok, they end up watching Chinese propaganda.
