TV Star's Cause Of Death Revealed

A former child star is gone too soon.

Evan Ellingson, best known for his role in CSI: Miami, died recently at the age of 35.

Now, after weeks of waiting, autopsy results have been revealed, and his family finally has answers.

Ellingson’s death was officially ruled accidental in nature.

The former actor was found dead in his bedroom in California on Nov. 5.

His father, Michael Ellingson, had previously been open about his son’s struggle with drugs and addiction but told Fox News Digital that he was "doing really well recently" and that the family was "in shock and devastated right now."

Lovers of CSI will always remember Ellingson as Kyle Harmon, Detective Horatio Caine’s son, who appeared in more than 18 episodes.

Lovers of Ellingson himself will remember him for being Evan.
