Former President Donald Trump's older sister Maryanne Trump Barry died at home on Monday, according to ABC News.

Barry was found in her apartment at around 4 a.m., but could not be revived.

There were no signs of foul play, and a cause of death is not yet available.

Barry was formerly a federal judge. She stepped down in 2019 while her younger brother was president.

Trump said in a statement that his sister's life had been "perfect" until he ran for president in 2016 and that she was "relentlessly" hounded after that.

Barry had made some mildly derogatory comments about Trump and said his presidency had caused family problems, but the two still had a relationship and last saw each other over the summer.
