Trump's failed immunity appeal actually a win for delay strategy

 February 7, 2024

Former President Donald Trump just keeps finding ways to pull wins out of THIN AIR!

Recently, an appeals court decided that the former president is NOT immune from criminal prosecution for conduct that occurred while he was in the Oval Office.

But, it is still a huge win for Trump!

Why?

Because it took so long for the court to come to that conclusion, the underlying trial has been indefinitely postponed.

According to former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani, “It's in Trump's interest to delay the case until after the November election.”

“If he wins control of the White House, a sitting president can't be prosecuted,” Rahmani continued in a recent statement.

So, what’s next for Trump?

He has the option to choose the Supreme Court to review the appeals court’s decision and determine whether it will remain or be reversed.

Trump’s defense team has until Feb. 13 to make that request.

The former president has time on his side, and at this rate, he very well may be able to delay the trial until November!
