Trump dares judge to jail him for gag order violation, states that it would be a "great honor"

Former President Donald Trump is calling Judge Juan Merchan's bluff and seemingly dared Merchan to jail him for a gag order violation by declaring it would be a "great honor." 

Trump knows that if Merchan jailed the leading Republican candidate for the presidency with the election seven months away, it would be a massive tool for his campaign and would generate incredible support.

In a post to Truth Social on Saturday, Trump declared "If this Partisan Hack wants to put me in the 'clink' for speaking the open and obvious TRUTH, I will gladly become a Modern Day Nelson Mandela."

Jailing Trump would be an incalculable disaster for President Joe Biden and the Democrat Party as it would validate everything Trump has been saying for months.

Turning Trump into a martyr would convince those few remaining Americans who haven't accepted Trump's claims of partisan corruption on the part of Democrats that Democrats have truly weaponized the justice system.

Trump has nothing to lose while Democrats have everything to lose. But Judge Merchan may have no choice as he could completely undermine himself if he backs down.
