Tori Spelling files for divorce from Dean McDermott after 18 years of marriage

Beverly Hills 90210 actress Tori Spelling has filed for divorce from Canadian actor Dean McDermott after 18 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

The two have been separated since June 17, 2023, according to court documents.

Spelling has filed for spousal support and asked for McDermott's support rights to be terminated.

She also wants sole custody of their 5 children, ages 7 to 17, with McDermott having joint legal custody.

McDermott had an affair in 2014, but Spelling said in a 2016 interview that the couple had "rebuilt" their relationship.

The actor spoke in November of the couple's separation and said that the relationship had deteriorated.
