Toby Keith's music made a resurgence after it was announced that he died on Feb. 5 from stomach cancer at age 62, and this week, he broke a record set by artists like Kenny Rogers and Taylor Swift by claiming 90% of the top 10 songs on the Country Digital Song Sales chart at one time.

The singer reached this milestone on Feb. 17 as fans mourned his passing, as Billboard reported. Keith also had 13 of the top 15 spots.

The legendary singer had all the top 10 spots except #2, which was held by Luke Combs' remake of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car."

Keith was known for songs about subjects including drinking and patriotism.

His "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" was written after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, and it was featured on Sean Hannity's conservative talk radio show for years after it was released.

That song, along with "Red Solo Cup" and his first hit from 1993, "Should've Been a Cowboy," were both in the top 10.
