Rep. Omar's daughter suspended from elite college after arrest during anti-Israel protest

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar's (D) daughter made headlines this week for being hilariously dramatic about her living situation.

According to the New York Post, Isra Hirsi, 21, a student at the prestigious $90,000-per-year Barnard College, claims she's now "homeless" because of her anti-Israel activism at Columbia University’s campus last week, where she was arrested.

Hirsi, and a handful of other radical, progressive Israel-hating students were kicked out of school in the form of a suspension after their arrests last week.

Part of the consequences of the suspension included being evicted from campus housing and a ban from the campus dining hall, which caused her to feel "frantic" about where she would sleep and how she would eat.

"I was a little bit frantic, like, where am I going to sleep? Where am I gonna go?" Hirsi complained to Teen Vogue. "And also all of my s**t is thrown in a random lot. It’s pretty horrible."

"I have like four shirts, two pairs of pants," she added, as if her life was over. "I don’t know when I can go home, and I don’t know if I ever will be able to."

She continued to whine to the teen magazine, stressing that there was no "food support" from her school after she was released from jail for breaking the law.

"I sent them an email like, 'Hey, I rely on campus for my meals, I rely on my dining plan,' and they were like, Oh, you can come pick up a prepackaged bag of food, a full 48 hours after I was suspended," she told the magazine. "There was no food support, no nothing."

Not surprisingly, Hirsi was roundly mocked across social media for her reaction to discovering that even the children of the Democratic elite can be arrested and face real-world consequences.

"If Ilhan Omar’s daughter Isra Hirsi didn’t want to be treated like a criminal then she shouldn’t have acted like one. Ilhan herself is obviously to blame for this too because she’s been shamelessly promoting extreme antisemitism the entire time her daughter Isra has been alive," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "I have zero sympathy for anyone that is a Pro-Hamas Nazi."

In the wake of her daughter's arrest for spewing anti-Israel hatred, Rep. Omar said she was "enormously proud" of her law-breaking child.

As of this writing, Hirsi has still not gone into starvation mode and has presumably found adequate shelter.
