New York Gov. Kathy Hochul asked to leave wake of slain NYPD officer Jonathon Diller

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) attended the wake of slain NYPD officer Jonathon Diller on Friday but was quickly confronted and seemingly ordered to leave, which she did so just minutes after her arrival.

Hochul then went on to claim that she believed she had done the right thing during an address at an Easter event at the governor’s mansion on Saturday.

She stated, "People will do what they’re going to do for their own reasons, and I will remain convinced that it was the right thing to do. I would do it again, and that’s my job. My job is to be there when people need me. If they need to talk to me, and they all needed to talk to me, my job is to listen."

Apparently, Hochul believes it's her job to appear for photo opportunities, but it's not her job to support police officers who have had to deal with the rising crime wave created by her and the Democrat Party's crime policies.

The man who shot Officer Diller had a lengthy criminal history, and things like bail policies supported by Democrats allowed him to walk free and eventually commit this senseless murder.

While Hochul was not wanted at the wake, former President Donald Trump was welcomed, thanks to his strong support of police officers and effective criminal justice.
