A number of human body parts were found in Southards Pond Park in Babylon, New York, on Thursday, causing the closure of the park while police investigated.

A woman's head, leg, and arm were found on the western side of the park, while a man's two arms with tattoos were found on the eastern side.

A female walking to school Thursday morning found the first part, an arm, and called her father, who called 911.

Cadaver dogs were brought in to see if there were more body parts than those that had already been found, Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives confirmed. The body parts appeared to have been placed in the park recently.

Police were asking for tips as far as how the body parts got into the park and what might have happened.

It could be related to MS-13 gang violence that has increased with the surge in illegal immigration facilitated and encouraged by the Biden administration.
