Mexican Cartel 'Apologizes' For Murder Of Americans

 March 10, 2023

A letter apparently from the Mexican Cartel behind the kidnapping and murder of multiple Americans last week has said that the members "involved and responsible" for the incident have been dealt with.

The Gulf Cartel claims that the offending members were handed over to authorities, saying:

We have decided to turn over those who were directly involved and responsible in the events, who at all times acted under their own decision-making and lack of discipline.

The letter insisted that those who committed the vicious crime had not been following the cartel's rules, which include "respecting the life and well-being of the innocent."

Accompanying the letter was an image of five men lying face-down with their hands tied behind their backs. Presumably, these are the offending gang members who were delivered to authorities.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland initially blamed the drug cartels for the horrific crime and promised that America's government is "doing everything possible to dismantle and disrupt and ultimately prosecute the leaders of the cartels and the entire networks that they depend on."
