Lara Trump releases first original music single

 March 30, 2024

Former President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, recently dominated headlines after she was chosen as the co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC).

However, she's now making headlines for something completely different -- her budding musical career.

According to the Daily Mail, Lara Trump dropped a new single last week called "Anything is Possible" and hinted that there's more original music to come.

The new RNC co-chair, who's married to Eric Trump, announced her new single in an X post last week.

"A little something I had fun with over the winter (and a few more too that I’ll save for a future date, special for my YUGE fans in the liberal media ) pre-save link below. Officially available at midnight tonight!" she wrote.

The Mail noted:

The ballad is available on multiple platforms including Spotify, iTunes and YouTube and includes lyrics like 'you can't give up, know that anything is possible' and 'I've had my ups and downs, cried when no one's around, still I got to put my game face on, even when I'm not feeling strong.'

It was noted that the single wasn't Lara Trump's first experience with releasing music, but it was her first original piece.

Previously, she released a cover of Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down," which stirred controversy at the time as she and her fans claimed Apple allegedly "shadowbanned" the song from appearing in the iTunes store.

Her first original single brought loads of praise from her fans, and an equal amount of mockery and hatred from those still stricken with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

"Awesome, Lara. Really great," Joe Pagliarulo wrote on X.

Another X user wrote, "Can Democrats and Republicans put our differences aside and unite to stop Lara Trump from butchering any more of our favorite songs?? This could bring us together in ways we never thought possible!"

Others took a more neutral stance and encouraged her to focus on leading the RNC and winning elections.

"Please concentrate on winning elections. You’re not there to be a celebrity," one X user wrote.
