Lara Trump officially elected new RNC co-chair
Donald Trump appears to already be surrounding himself with the people who he wants to make his campaign and subsequent presidency a success.
While he's yet to name a running mate, he has had MAJOR influence over the people who will now control the Republican National Committee.
Michael Whatley has been named the new chair of the RNC. His rise through the ranks of the RNC has been almost parallel to Trump's ascent to the top, so it's no surprise that Whatley is part of the broad Trump takeover of Republican politics.
A RNC co-chair was also named, and you'll be pretty familiar with her last name:
Apparently, both Michael Whatley and Lara Trump recently received unanimous support, placing them at the top of the RNC's hierarchy.
This is by no means a guarantee that Donald Trump is going to win the election, but his chances get a lot better when he is surrounded by people like this instead of people trying to work against him.
