Kathy Griffin hired private investigator to locate ex for divorce papers

Comedian and actress Kathy Griffin, 63, has spent the last three months trying to find ex Randy Bick to serve him with divorce papers, including hiring a private investigator, with no success.

Bick has not been in contact with Griffin since she asked him to leave their shared home in December 2023, at which time she filed for divorce.

Court documents obtained by People magazine said Griffin will seek a default judgment against Bick while continuing to try to locate him.

"[Griffin] will make further attempts to locate [Bick] and will now take steps to enter his default," the brief read.

The couple had a prenuptial agreement when they married in 2019, which Griffin is seeking to enforce. She also asked for both parties' spousal support to be terminated.

Griffin is pouring herself into her "My Life on the PTSD List" tour to help her forget about Bick and the state of her love life, she said on X. She became rather infamous for appearing in images showing herself holding former President Donald Trump's severed head, but has seemed to bounce back from the backlash.
