Joe Biden announces sanctions on Israeli forces in betrayal of key ally

 April 22, 2024

President Joe Biden has announced that the U.S. has enacted sanctions against the IDF’s 97th Netzah Yehuda Battalion for actions in the West Bank prior to the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks by Hamas.

That particular unit is made up entirely of ultra-Orthodox Jews, which makes these sanctions extremely questionable and gives the appearance that the Biden administration is targeting the Jewish religion instead of the Jewish state.

This raises serious concerns, especially with antisemitism on the rise in the Democrat Party.

The Biden administration sanctioned the unit for alleged human rights violations. One case cited involved an elderly Palestinian American named Omar Assad, who died after he was handcuffed, gagged, and forced to lie on his stomach for an extended period.

The White House didn't care about this before, but with the pressure building from radical terrorist sympathizers in the Democrat Party, Biden has been forced to do what he can to appease his base.

This likely won't be enough for many radical Democrats who want the U.S. to pull all military support of Israel as it dismantles Hamas.
