James Carville warns Democrats that Trump will beat Biden

 September 27, 2023

Some hardcore Democrats are finally ready to admit that former President Donald Trump, despite his indictments and constant negative media coverage, is dominating not only the GOP primary race but he's already looking to be in prime position for a 2024 White House win.

You know it's bad when James Carville, a card-carrying, anti-Trump leftist, is sounding the warning bells.

According to Breitbart, the longtime Democratic strategist held nothing back during an interview on Bill Maher’s "Club Random Podcast," saying that Democrats need to "wake the f**k up."

Carville and Maher discussed President Joe Biden's struggling 2024 campaign, noting that his age and obvious cognitive condition will be difficult to overcome in debates, rallies and other crucial campaign events.

"Let’s assume the election was November the third of this year and the candidates are Joe Biden, the Democrat, Donald Trump, Republican, Joe Manchin and Larry Hogan, No Labels, and Cornel West. Trump would be a betting favorite," Carville told Maher.

Carville added, "If I told you I would give you even money, you would not take that bet. All right. And so somebody better wake the f**k up."

Maher responded to Carville's comment, adding that he believes that Biden will undoubtedly lose to Trump at this point in time.

"In 2020, maybe he was the only one who could have beaten Trump, I think now he’s the only one who will lose to him," Maher said.

He added, "He cannot run for president. He’ll look bad in the debates. It’s too much. And he’s — I think, going to lose. He will be Ruth Bader Biden, the Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the presidency. It’s not a good look. And any 50-ish, not stupid woke Democrat with a D by their name. People just vote D and R, that person can win."

Carville agreed, suggesting, like many others who aren't cowards and too afraid to say it, that the party needs someone younger and more energizing to stand a chance at downing Trump in the general election.

"Could win easily. If we had somebody under 60 and ran against Trump, we’d get 55%," Carville said.

A recent ABC News/Washington Post survey found Trump beating Biden by 10 points in a hypothetical 2024 matchup. The poll rocked the Biden-friendly media world.

Democrats better hope that they have a backup plan, as a Biden loss would wreak havoc on the entire party, and likely have a ripple effect on numerous other Democratic candidates that would fall as a result of Biden's low polling numbers and unfavorability.
