Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán meets with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, Biden 'furious'

President Joe Biden seemed a little angry that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited former President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Saturday.

According to Fox News, Biden was described as being "furious" over the meeting between the two leaders, especially after it was revealed that the Hungarian PM offered his full endorsement of Trump, for what that's worth.

According to a Trump campaign spokesperson, the two men discussed "a wide range of issues affecting Hungary and the United States, including the paramount importance of strong and secure borders to protect the sovereignty of each nation."

Trump sang Orbán's praises, saying, "There’s nobody that’s better, smarter or a better leader than Viktor Orban. He’s fantastic."

The former president added, "He’s a noncontroversial figure because he said ‘This is the way it’s gonna be,’ and that’s the end of it. He’s the boss."

The Hungarian PM praised Trump in a social media post following their Mar-a-Lago meetup, saying Trump is the kind of "respected" leader that the world needs right now -- an obvious shot at President Biden.

"It was a pleasure to visit President [Donald Trump] today. We need leaders in the world who are respected and can bring peace," Orbán said in a post. "He is one of them! Come back and bring us peace, Mr. President!"

During a campaign stop in Pennsylvania, Biden seemed outraged that the two met, and ran the usual Democrat talking point that leaders like Orbán are a threat to Democracy.

"You know who he’s meeting with today down in Mar-a-Lago? Orbán of Hungary, who’s stated flatly that he doesn’t thinks democracy works, he’s looking for dictatorship," Biden said, as he ramps up attacks on Trump following the former president's incredible string of Super Tuesday victories.

Biden added, "I see a future where we defend democracy, not diminish it."

Orbán has taken a hardline stance against illegal immigration in his own country, which, of course, places him at the top of the enemies list for U.S. Democrats. Social media users pointed that out after his visit.

"At least a few world leaders get it….." one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "Orban cares for the safety of his people. Always admired his ability to see The invasion and erect a barricade practically overnight."
