Family attends Todd Chrisley's appeals court hearing

The Chrisley family is one of those like the Kardashians where everyone in America seems to know their name, but people seem to have trouble coming up with whatever they did to deserve to become famous.

In 2014, a real-estate tycoon named Todd Chrisley was given his own show on USA Network entitled Chrisley Knows Best.

It was successful enough to spawn a spin-off focusing on Todd's Children, Chase and Savannah Chrisley, entitled Growing Up Chrisley.

The point of the show was apparently nothing other than to show off their extravagant lifestyle, but viewers apparently loved it, judging by the fact that 204 episodes of Chrisley Knows Best made it to air.

In 2022, however, the family's empire came crashing down.

Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie Chrisley were found guilty on federal tax charges and sentenced to prison.

Just recently, Savannah Chrisley provided an update on her parents before their hearing at the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta.

Apparently, Todd and Julie "are OK and holding up."

After the trial, Savannah said that her parents "tuned in today, they watched the whole hearing, and they are feeling hopeful, they are prayerful that the judge will see, just truly, the judge will see what's going on on the record."
