Police have finally released the information, and our worst fears have been confirmed.
The four dead bodies they found were all part of the same family believed to be killed in a murder-suicide.
Officers discovered the bodies on Oct. 4 at a residence in Plainsboro, New Jersey.
Cops arrived after a family member had called and requested a welfare check.
The family was identified as married couple Tej Pratap Singh and Sonal Parihar and their two children, a six-year-old girl and a ten-year-old boy.
Law enforcement sources explained to ABC that authorities believe the male killed his wife and children before doing the job on himself.
"We used to see them, happy family with kids around," a neighbor said about the family. "The kids were always out playing happily."
Not anymore, allegedly thanks to Tej.
Mayor Peter Cantu mourned the loss of the family in a message shared by Plainsboro Township Police.

It's important to share the news to spread the truth. Most people won't.
