The Republic Brief suggests 'big win for Trump' imminent at Supreme Court

 May 18, 2024

The Republic Brief is reporting that there is news from the Supreme Court and calling it a "big win for Trump!"

The outlet is reporting that Georgetown University's Jonathan Turley recently appeared on Fox News and said that America's Supreme Court needed to find a middle ground in Trump's presidential immunity case so that future commanders in chief would know where the line is between protected conduct and that for which they can be liable.

"There is a slippery slope on both sides, but I was surprised with the three justices on the left, is that they didn’t seem at all concerned about how extreme that argument would be -- leaving a president with no protection," Turley said. "So the question that most of the justices were struggling with, and I thought they were doing in good faith, is how do we find a more balanced, nuanced approach here?"

This is a "big win" because Turley then said that the Supreme Could send the case "back to the trial court."

Donald's case transferring courts AGAIN means more delays, and that is music to Trump's ears.

A big win anyway you look at it. Either a conservative Supreme Court will make a decision, or the process will take even longer.
