Blackburn: Americans Should Be Upset by Plan to Stop Mayorkas Impeachment

Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn is upset about plans by her Democratic colleagues to essentially dismiss the two articles of impeachment passed by America's House of Representatives against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

The senator from Tennessee said that Americans should be "incensed" about liberals' plan to let Mayorkas off the hook.

"What we’re hearing is for the first time ever in our nation’s history, Chuck Schumer is wanting to table the impeachment articles," Blackburn said during a recent interview with Mario Bartiromo.

Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat and the Senate majority leader, has indicated he's not even going to hold an official trial for the documents, he's just looking to squash them with a simple majority vote.

Despite liberals' insistence on protecting him, Mayorkas is NOT good for this country, and Blackburn knows it.

"Mayorkas is doing Joe Biden’s bidding," she said.
