Biden says Israel, with help of US forces, shot down most of Iran's drones, missiles

 April 14, 2024

President Joe Biden convened an emergency G7 session following the attack from Iran on Israel with missiles and drones.

Biden issued a statement confirming that combined Israeli and U.S. forces were able to “take down” nearly all “the incoming drones and missiles” launched by Iran “and its proxies operating out of Yemen, Syria, and Iraq."

The president's statement continued by saying, "My team will engage with their counterparts across the region and we will stay in close touch with Israel’s leaders. And while we have not seen attacks on our forces or facilities today, we will remain vigilant to all threats and will not hesitate to take all necessary action to protect our people."

Iran's attack on Israel was thankfully not nearly as destructive as initially anticipated, and some suspect that it was intentional.

Many think that Iran's attack was nothing but a propaganda effort and that they never actually wanted to hit Israel hard enough to illicit an armed response.

Iran hyped up its attack and practically broadcast it to the whole world, which further indicates it was pure propaganda. Nonetheless, this attack is further evidence that President Biden has lost control of the Middle East.
