Biden exploded at staff, aides, over border crisis on Air Force One in 2023: Report

 February 13, 2024

President Joe Biden and his administration officials have worked overtime to downplay the illegal immigration crisis at the southern U.S. border, but behind the scenes, it was a much different story.

According to several bombshell reports, in January 2023, Biden reportedly had a meltdown of sorts while flying aboard Air Force One.

The incident had to do with the immigration crisis, and he reportedly demanded data on the ongoing situation that his advisers or aides couldn't produce on the fly, which reportedly caused him to erupt.

Axios noted:

The president lit into his team, which included then-Deputy Chief of Staff Jen O'Malley Dillon, Homeland Security adviser Liz Sherwood-Randall and other immigration officials. He demanded obscure immigration data points — and vented when his staff didn't have them handy.

Axios reported that three people familiar with the meeting confirmed that Biden was furious at his advisers during the flight.

Adding insult to injury, the sources said that after Biden calmed down and his aides scrambled to obtain the data points he was seeking, it essentially led to a decrease in morale.

Axios added:

Biden's fury subsided, and aides scrambled for the information he wanted. People in the meeting later told others in frustration that his winding process and irritability were making it more difficult to reach decisions about the border.

In other words, the Biden administration, including the elderly president, was well aware of the absolute dumpster fire-level crisis at the southern border all along.

The attempt to downplay the situation, which has been laughable for years, has now backfired so spectacularly that Biden is actually pushing some of the Trump-era border policies that he canceled on Day One of his presidency.

The president has recently even vowed to "shut down" the border, and the administration -- including top Democrats -- are hilariously trying to shift blame to the Trump administration.

Biden and the White House have insisted that they do not have the appropriate powers to "shut down" the border, but many experts lawmakers have countered, saying that the White House does, in fact, have that power.

Also hilariously, the Biden administration's change of pace on the border comes as his 2024 presidential campaign struggles to gain ground. The border is expected to be a top issue at the polls.

It'll be fascinating to watch the White House and Biden scramble and pretend that the administration is concerned about the border.
