YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki's son, Marco Troper, died on Tuesday at the University of California, Berkeley, after what is believed to have been a fatal overdose of fentanyl.

Troper's grandmother, Esther Wojcicki, told the SF Gate, "He ingested a drug, and we don't know what was in it. One thing we do know, it was a drug."

We are still waiting for a toxicology report to confirm precisely what killed Troper, but it is suspected that he died due to the fentanyl present in whatever he was taking.

Fentanyl has been found laced in all kinds of drugs, and considering the fact that the most minuscule amount can kill, that seems the most likely cause of Troper's death.

The substance is extremely dangerous as it is found in a host of popular drugs, and it is far more lethal than anything else on the market. In the past few years, it has killed thousands; many of those deaths were people like Troper, likely trying something while unaware that it could kill him.

College kids experimenting with drugs is nothing new, but in the past, it was much less dangerous. Now even Marijuana can be laced with fentanyl, causing tragic deaths like Troper's.
