Obama's favorite magazine calls on Fani Willis to step down

 February 19, 2024

The Atlantic has published an opinion piece calling on Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to step aside from the election interference case against former President Donald Trump signaling that the left has turned on her after numerous scandals.

Willis is facing accusations of an inappropriate "extracurricular liaison" with her fellow prosecutor on the case against Trump, and the former president's lawyers are arguing that Willis should be disqualified from the case entirely.

While The Atlantic's opinion piece rejected the idea that Willis should be disqualified, it did state that Willis is a "public servant obligated to discharge the duties of her office in accordance with the best interest of the people of Georgia. In this instance, the best interest of the public dictates that she withdraw from prosecuting the case."

The fact that a liberal publication is openly endorsing Willis's removal from the Trump case demonstrates just how badly she messed up.

Willis is jeopardizing an indictment against Trump, and Democrats need successful convictions if they want any hope of stopping him in November.

Trump is stronger than ever, and the Democrat Party knows it will have to break the rules to beat him. While the weaponization of the justice system by Democrats is disgusting, they aren't sending their best, and Trump is getting the better of them.
