Sen. Mitt Romney, a Republican from Utah, is not going to make the same mistake that he made back in 2012.
His chief of staff has announced that Romney will NOT launch a 2024 presidential bid.
Granted, it was going to be tough for anyone to take down Barack Obama the last time Romney ran, but he really never had a chance.

Many voters accuse Romney of being a Republican in name only, and some even consider him one of the worst presidential candidates the GOP ever put forward.
He even crossed the aisle and voted to impeach then-President Donald Trump.
"Donald Trump represents a failure of character, which is changing, I think, in many respects, the psyche of our nation and the heart of our nation. And that’s something which takes a long time, if ever, to repair," Romney said.
