Mitch McConnell Refuses To Step Down Over Health Concerns

 September 8, 2023

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has proven that he can't always be counted on to string a few sentences together.

It might not even be his fault; the man is almost 105 years old.

But that doesn't mean he should be given a pass. Neither should Sen. Dianne Feinstein or President Joe Biden, for that matter.

These people are TOO OLD and TOO TIRED to lead this country. They have been for quite some time, but they simply stay in power so that they and their families can be financially set for generations to come.

It's time for McConnell to go, even if he is a Republican. If we're going to stand here and say that Joe Biden needs to be removed from office, then we need to hold Mitch McConnell to the same standard.

But Mitch doesn't want to be held to that standard.

"I have no announcements to make on that subject, I’m going to finish my term as leader, and I’m going to finish my Senate term." McConnell replied when the press recently asked about whether he might retire.

He wants to keep making money and keep ruining this country.
