Lebanese migrant caught at southern US border confessed he 'wanted to make a bomb'

President Joe Biden's illegal immigration crisis is deadly on many levels, and a recent arrest proves without question that America is in grave danger.

According to the New York Post, an illegal migrant -- from Lebanon -- caught sneaking across the southern U.S. border delivered a frightening message to Border Patrol officers during his arrest.

Basel Bassel Ebbadi, 22, admitted to BP officers that not only is he a member Hezbollah, a violent terrorist organization, but he also confessed that he hoped to construct a bomb, and said his ultimate destination was New York.

A Border Patrol document obtained exclusively by the NY Post indicated that upon his arrest, Ebbadi said, "I’m going to try to make a bomb."

The NY Post noted:

But Ebbadi later claimed in an interview that he had been trying to flee Lebanon and Hezbollah because he “didn’t want to kill people” and said “once you’re in, you can never get out,” according to internal US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) documents.

During an interrogation, the Lebanese illegal migrant confessed that he trained with Hezbollah for seven years "and served as an active member guarding weapons locations for another four years."

Not surprisingly, Ebbadi also admitted that his training was based around the idea of "Jihad" and killing people "who aren't Muslims."

The Iranian-backed terrorist group has actively become involved in fighting against Israel with Hamas, and is responsible for some of the missiles fired at Israel during the Oct. 7 Hamas-led terrorist attack that killed thousands.

Because of his frightening admissions to authorities, Ebbadi was placed in holding and referred to an interview with the Tactical Terrorism Response Team, given the nature of his intended actions.

Encounters with illegal migrants at the southern U.S. border who also happen to be on the terror watch list have increased, and the Biden administration has come under increasing pressure to dedicate resources to make such discoveries a high priority, given that it would only take one person like Ebbadi to wreak havoc on the United States.

Social media users reacted to the alarming apprehension.

"I wonder how many like him made to our country since Biden took office," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "Of course. Joe Biden is importing terrorism."
