Report: Lakewood Church Shooter Had 'Free Palestine' Written On Gun

A little boy is reportedly fighting for his life in the hospital after his own mother entered Joel Osteen’s megachurch and began firing an AR-15 with him by her side.

Given that the AR-15 had a sticker that said “Free Palestine” on it, it is likely that Moreno held left-wing political views.

Two off-duty officers who happened to be present at the scene of the shooting began firing and immediately struck the woman, later identified as Genesee Ivonne Moreno.

She was pronounced dead soon after.

The assailant's young son suffered a gunshot wound to his head during the shootout and is currently in critical condition.

There have been no further updates.

The two aforementioned police officers have been hailed heroes by the FBI’s Doug Williams, who said that the” number of casualties and victims would have been much higher" if they had not acted.
