Kevin Costner finalizes divorce from Christine Baumgartner

Kevin Costner and his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner have finalized their divorce and will go their separate ways nine months after deciding to pull the plug on their marriage. 

Family life wasn't working for Costner and Baumgartner, and with their marriage over, they will have joint custody of their three children, and Baumgartner is receiving $63,209 a month in child support from Costner.

Costner and Baumgartner enjoyed 18 years of marriage, but that ended with a bitter divorce battle that took months to resolve.

The couple's three children are Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13. This situation is truly unfortunate for them as they will now have to adjust to a life of parents who live apart and potential familial instability.

Baumgartner cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce, but Costner believes that Baumgartner had become romantically involved with their neighbor, a divorced father of three.

She eventually moved in with said neighbor, and the couple was spotted vacationing in Hawaii last year.
