Jim Jordan declares that he '100%' supports Donald Trump for president

Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) declared that he "100%" supports former President Donald Trump's reelection bid on Friday before a speech at the National Rifle Association convention.

Jordan's endorsement signals that the power players in the Republican Party are satisfied with what they have seen and are ready to throw their support behind Trump's 2024 campaign.

Jordan told Fox News, "No one has demonstrated that they will do what they said and get things done like he did, and he did it with everyone in that town against him. And that's what I still respect about President Trump, and I'm for him all the way."

Trump is matched up with the likes of former Vice President Mike Pence and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. Without Trump in the field, Pence and Haley would be more serious candidates, but they can't hold a candle to Trump.

Donald Trump's return to the White House is beginning to feel inevitable as no matter what Democrats have done, they have been unable to stop Trump from returning to political power.

A lot can still change in between now and July 2024 when the RNC will convene and pick the nominee. But for now, this race is Trump's to lose, and Jordan will likely not be the only high-profile Republican to endorse Trump in the next couple of months.
