Independents favoring Donald Trump over Joe Biden for ability to handle the economy

A Suffolk University Sawyer Business School/USA TODAY poll found that Independent voters favor former President Donald Trump over President Joe Biden for Trump's ability to handle and fix the economy.

The poll found that a massive 59% of respondents disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy, which could prove to be a major issue for his reelection hopes.

The poll also found that 67% of Independents surveyed believe the economy is getting worse with the presidential election just around the corner.

Cost of living and economic uncertainty are going to be major factors in next year's election. Democrats are working hard to make the election about cultural issues, but Americans are feeling the pain from Biden's policies.

When it comes to whom voters trust more to fix things, Trump has a double-digit advantage, according to this poll. A significant 47% percent of respondents favor Trump, while 36% of respondents think that Biden can right the ship.

The cost of food, fuel, and energy has skyrocketed under President Biden, crushing budgets and leaving Americans vulnerable. This stands in stark contrast to the booming Trump years full of economic vitality and monetary security for Americans.
