Ilhan Omar's daughter suspended from Barnard College

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

It appears as though Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar's daughter is facing consequences for her radical alt-left views as well, just like her mother.

Isra Hirsi, daughter of the progressive congresswoman, was recently suspended by Barnard College, an undergraduate college of Columbia University, over her participation in an anti-Israel protest.

"Those of us in Gaza Solidarity Encampment will not be intimidated," Hirsi posted online in relation to the protest.

The decision comes at a time when confusion over who to support in the struggle between Israel and Hamas seems to be at an all-time high.

Pro-Palestinian protests have recently rocked the campus of Columbia University, leading to brawls and arrests.

Hirsi is an organizer with Columbia University Apartheid Divest, which is a group that advocates for the university to turn away from Israel.

"I am an organizer with CU Apartheid Divest @ColumbiaSJP, in my 3 years at @BarnardCollege i have never been reprimanded or received any disciplinary warnings," Omar's daughter posted online. "I just received notice that i am 1 of 3 students suspended for standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide."
